There are many ways in which you can contribute to LifeWorks.

Join The Legacy Circle

LifeWorks Legacy Circle is a dedicated group of friends committed to furthering LifeWorks' mission. Legacy Circle members make a five-year commitment to invest $1,000 or greater annually in our campaign to end youth homelessness in Austin. This supports youth and young adults in their pursuit of a life they love and a stable future for themselves and their families.

In-kind Donations

  • Apartment-sized Furniture - queen size beds, air mattresses, dressers, love seats, small sofas, end tables, coffee tables, occasional chairs, small kitchen tables and chairs

    Household Items - lamps, dishware, pots and pans, small kitchen appliances, high chairs, strollers, area rugs, shower curtains, bath mats, new towels, new queen bed linens.

  • Infant/Toddler Care - new hooded baby towels, new washcloths, baby shampoo, baby body wash, Infant bathing tub, mild soap for laundry, diaper pail (clean)

    Nursery - new cribs with mattresses, glider/rocking chair, baby monitor, new changing pads, lullaby CDs, toddler beds, cribs with mattresses

    On The Go - Pack n' Plays, diaper bags, sling or soft front carrier, pacifiers, teething rings, mommy hooks, strollers

    Play - bouncy seat, play mat with toys attached

  • Musical Instruments - hand drums, acoustic and electric guitars, percussion instruments, violins, mandolins, banjos, small amplifiers with cables.

    Group support - any type or form of puppets, picnic tables, art supplies, food/snacks, raffle prizes/small gifts, gift cards, fun pencils, packs of colored pencils and crayons, fun erasers, bags individually wrapped peppermints/lifesavers.

  • New socks, underwear (male and female), winter coats and jackets, sturdy boots, adult-size backpacks, sleeping bags, tents

You can support youth and families on their journey by donating items on the following list and/or organizing your friends, family, or co-workers to do donation drives. Because our inventory varies throughout the year, for non-furniture needs please contact Debbie Immel and for all furniture needs please contact Richard Williams. Currently, we cannot accept used clothing donations. Please see the link below for our in-kind donation form to track your contribution.

Host a gift card Drive

Gift cards are an easy way to support LifeWorks youth and families. Just $25 from stores such as Target, Walmart or HEB will provide a youth much-needed food and clothing. If you are planning a party, ask your guests to bring gift cards or to make a donation to LifeWorks instead of bringing gifts. Every little bit helps those in need!
