Common Ground: A Safe Space for Youth and Families

Supporting Youth Ages 13-17 Facing Mental Health & Substance Use Challenges

Find Community. Find Support. Find your Common Ground.

Life can be overwhelming, but no one has to face it alone. Common Ground is a welcoming space where youth (ages 13-17) who are navigating mental health or substance use challenges can hang out, recover, and find community. We also support families, offering guidance and resources to help everyone move forward together.

At Common Ground, we provide peer-led support, fun activities, and a sense of belonging—all at no cost to you.

What We Offer

  • Connect with certified peers who have walked a similar path. They provide emotional support, help navigate resources, and lead wellness activities—helping you feel less alone in your journey.

  • Caregivers also need support. Our Certified Family Partners—who have firsthand experience parenting a child with emotional or behavioral health challenges—offer hope, resources, and connections to additional services.

  • Enjoy field trips, movies, video games, snacks, and a relaxed space to just be yourself. We also provide access to helpful resources that can support your growth and recovery.

  • We offer group and one-on-one peer sessions for youth and group and one-on-one family support for caregivers. Whatever you need, we’re here to help.
